The centerpiece of the western coastal region is represented by the majestic relief of Mount Cameroon, which dominates from the top of its 4,090 meters, a naturalistic area of great suggestion and interesting traditions of a part of English-speaking Cameroon.
The magic and mystery of this still active volcanic land impregnates everything, from the landscape scenarios of the peaks wrapped in a perennial mist, to the atmospheres that see the devoted respect of a population, to what they still identify today as the “chariot of gods” that can destroy everything. If the eruptions of the crater are rare, when they occur they are not at all lenient and, recently, the lava flow has reached the coast, burying the plantations, of which the fertile and volcanic land is one and crossing the coastal state road.

Transfer to Buea and start of the trek along the Guinness Route.
Day 3: Tuesday 26 January 2027
Trek (Mountain Hut 2/Fako Peak/Mountain Hut 2, 2,860 m above sea level/4,095 m above sea level/2,860 m above sea level)
Hike to the highest peak in West Africa.
Day 4: Wednesday 27 January 2027
Trekking (Lodge 2/Fako Peak/Lodge 2, 2,860 m a.s.l./4,095 m a.s.l./2,860 m a.s.l.)/Buea/Limbe
Descent to Buea to admire its tea plantations and the volcanic beaches of Limbe.
Day 5: Thursday 28 January 2027
Limbe/Douala
The primate conservation centre and German colonial architecture.
Day 6: Friday 29 January 2027
Douala (DLA)/Return flight
Arrival at the destination airport.
