How to participate?
Please submit your photographs by 4 October 2026 to [email protected] :
– Use WeTransfer to send them
– A maximum of 10 photographs taken exclusively in Africa, in landscape format and in colour
– Each photo’s file name must include the destination (country and location) photographed and the photographer’s first name and surname, e.g. “Senegal, Dakar, Photo by Mario Rossi”
– Photo format: jpeg
– Minimum dimensions: 1920px wide
The images will be carefully selected and assessed by the Kanaga Africa Tours team, and by 2 November 2026 the names of the 13 winners will be announced on our website and social media channels; their photographs will be published in a special 2027 CALENDAR.
Prizes
The best shots will win:
1st place:
- A free place on a Kanaga Africa Tours group tour in Algeria, Benin, the Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Togo or Tunisia, to be used by 30 April 2027;
- The publication of the photograph as the cover of the Kanaga Africa Tours 2027 Calendar;
- 10 copies of the 2027 Calendar;
- A one-year subscription to Africa Rivista (delivery within Italy only).
From 2nd to 13th place:
- A voucher worth €200 to be spent on Kanaga Africa Tours’ group tours, to be used by 30 April 2027;
- Publication of the shot in the 2026 Calendar of Kanaga Africa Tours;
- 3 copies of the 2027 Calendar;
- A one-year subscription to Africa Rivista (delivery within Italy only).
