An adventure that will take us from the Hausa-Fulani Caliphate of Sokoto to the federal capital Abuja, meeting the “rare” ethnic groups of Nigeria, such as the Gobir, the Kamberi, the Dukkawa, the Dakakari, the Nupe and the Gwari.
Special departure with Leonardo Francesco Paoluzzi.
Reconnaissance trips, what you need to know
Before proposing a new destination, we at Kanaga Africa Tours personally test each itinerary, visiting the places/sites that we would propose, selecting the accommodations, choosing trusted guides and drivers, and the means suitable for our explorations. These trips are called reconnaissance trips, opportunities for discovery that we have decided to open to some of our loyal travelers, being aware that:
– it has lower costs than the “finished” tour that will be sold on our site, as the agency does not apply any margin and the guide does not receive compensation, with the sole aim of covering part of the costs of the reconnaissance;
– it is carried out in small groups of selected people;
– there is less rigidity on the program (it will be a “travel outline” and not a “travel program”) and a greater openness towards the definition of the itinerary;
– there is a greater possibility of unforeseen events, linked to the quality of the hotels, the preparation of the local guides, the opening/interest of some sites… but the presence of an expert guide will be able to overcome any difficulty.
NB: for reconnaissance trips, reservations through intermediaries, such as travel agencies, are not accepted.
