The Dahlak Archipelago in the southern Red Sea has more than 200 islands that form an unspoilt natural paradise characterised by beautiful deserted beaches surrounded by turquoise waters that are pleasantly warm all year round, ideal for snorkelling and diving. An exceptional ecosystem in which, thanks to an almost total absence of external aggression, marine flora and fauna have developed in an extraordinary way and today 3,000 living species, at least 109 species of birds and more than 1,000 species of fish live and proliferate undisturbed.
On this trip, ideal for those with a good spirit of adaptation (there are no fixed structures on the islands and accommodation is provided in igloo tents), it will be possible to visit islands with different characteristics and attractions, such as Madote, a coral sandbank entirely surrounded by reefs, and the volcanic island of Dissei, the extreme offshoot of the Dancalia region. Dur Gaam and Dur Ghella are perfect for those who enjoy relaxing on deserted beaches and snorkelling with manta rays, parrot fish and sea turtles. Dahret and Dohul, plateaus of madreporic rock with colourful seabeds and a lively reef fish fauna.
