From the palm-fringed Atlantic beaches, to the rugged savannahs and cliffs of northern Benin and Togo, you can breathe an enchanted atmosphere, permeated with that magic that, through ceremonies and rituals that are Perpetuating for centuries, local people call to help protect their own existence.
Two weeks to fully immerse yourself in another dimension. Among regions inhabited by ethnic groups that have resisted slavery and colonization, camouflaging their villages among hills and inaccessible areas and building small mud fortresses as homes, designed with war engineering precision. A little further on, in the majestic landscape of Atakora, stands one of the most beautiful natural parks in West Africa, home to lions, cheetahs, hippos, elephants and hundreds of other animal species. Crossing teak forests and pineapple and banana plantations, you reach the tropical belt of the two countries, with the sacred forests where the powerful gods that regulate the universe and the social order reside. Finally, the Atlantic coast, from which the entire Afro-Brazilian culture linked to the cult of voodoo originates, imported into the Americas during four centuries of slave trade.

Cotonou/Abomey
The remains of the kingdom of Dahomey and the ceremony with the Egunguns, the spirits of the ancestors.
Day 3 :
Abomey/Pays Taneka/Natitingou
Sacrifices to the Dankoli fetish and the animist traditions of the Taneka.
Day 4 :
Natitingou/Pendjari Park
Safari in the Pendjari park, looking for elephants, lions and cheetahs.
Day 5 :
Pendjari/Tanongou/Natitingou
A dip in the crystal clear waters of the Tanongou Waterfall.
Day 6 :
Natitingou/Somba and Tamberma/Sokodé
The Tatas, fortress houses of the Somba and the Tamberma, and the fire ceremony of the Tem.
Day 7 :
Sokodé/Atakpamé/Kpalimé
The Atakpamé market and the batik village of Kouma Konda.
Day 8 :
Kpalimé/Agou/Wome/Kpalimé
The climb of Mount Agou and a regenerating bath in the waters of the Womé waterfall.
Day 9 :
Kpalimé/Lomé/Agbodrafo
The impressive Lomé Fetishes Market, where you can find figurines stuck in spike and all the ‘ingredients’ for an amulet.
Day 10 :
Agbodrafo/Togoville/Grand Popo
Encounter with a voodoo priestess before “getting lost” in the weekly market of Vogan and admiring the evolutions of the Zangbeto spirit.
Day 11 :
Grand Popo/Bouche du Roi/Grand Popo
By boat on the mouth of the Mono River, between mangroves and deserted beaches.
Day 12 :
Grand Popo/Possotomé/Ouidah
The pythons temple, the sacred forest and the memory of the slave trade in Ouidah.
Day 13 :
Ouidah/Ganvié/Cotonou
The romantic stilted village of Ganvié and the chaotic Dantokpa market in Cotonou.
Day 14 :
Cotonou/Italy
Arrival at the destination airport.
